During this Fall semester, PitchPro had the rewarding opportunity to collaborate with Hamad Bin Khalifa University in their 2025 HBKU Ideathon! Along with QSTP, HBKU Innovation Center, QF Alumni, HBKU Alumni, and SHIFT, these entities joined forces to collaborate on a high-impact event encouraging students to get creative.

What the HBKU Ideathon Is All About

This two day event held on November 7 - 8 gave students across all HBKU colleges the opportunity to form teams, receive mentorship, and use innovative thinking to curate practical solutions. Industry experts were welcomed to the community to provide their knowledge and mentorship to the participants; experts also held workshops prior to the event to ensure that students were adopting an innovative mindset, and had the right toolkit for business models, prototyping, and pitching their ideas. PitchPro was especially pleased with their emphasis on mentoring students about the value of effective presentations and pitching tips prior to the event!

PitchPro’s Contributions to the Event

PitchPro participated in the HBKU Ideathon as an official collaborator, supporting the event’s mission to encourage creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students. Our presence reflected a shared commitment to helping young innovators better communicate their ideas and understand the importance of pitching in the early stages of venture creation.

By being part of the Ideathon ecosystem, PitchPro contributed to the broader conversation around idea clarity, presentation, and startup readiness, reinforcing the role that effective pitching plays in transforming creative concepts into impactful solutions. Collaborating with HBKU on this initiative allowed PitchPro to align its purpose with a student-driven platform that celebrates forward-thinking ideas.

This platform also offered PitchPro the opportunity to associate and network with industry experts that could be included as presentation mentors on the PitchPro web application in the future! This is one of the key features that makes PitchPro stand out from other AI tools; intertwining AI assistance with human connection and mentorship for optimal goal achievements.

Joining forces with mentors like the brilliant ones we met at HBKU’s Ideathon can create a powerful balance of artificial intelligence and human connection that only further supports PitchPro’s effectiveness and progression. This event was truly an exceptional testament of the impact that collaborating with the community can create!
